The EMBA class 22 concludes an industrious framework this summer at the University of Rochester
by EMBA student Noel Matos
While the Simon Business School might have been under heavy renovations, the Simon faculty and EMBA class 22 equally hammered away another successful summer program. It hit ground with Prof. A. Seidmann’s dynamic course on Information Management, and Derek Mohr’s interpretation on Capital Markets. The skilled practitioner, Glenn Huels, gave the group managerial insight in accounting, while Michael Raith, Organisational Design, closed the summer with some of the finishing touches on the three legged stool.
The architectural design of the program left the class extremely balanced for the future. The company visits this year to Wegmans, Gleason and First National Bank provided interesting insights into the food, industrial and commercial retail business.
If ever there was a moment of enrichment that brought our slogan “We’ll change the way you think” to full fruition, it was by the close of the Rochester experience. Although the impact of the summer truly affected everyone differently, it remains without question that it resonates onward into the start of our Fall 2016 semester.
