We are happy to announce that Richard Thaler, who received both a master’s degree (1970) and a PhD (1974) in economics at the University of Rochester, was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences on Monday.

uniqFEED: Neue Realitäten schaffen 

Die Idee kam kurz nach Beginn des Rochester-Bern Executive MBA im November 2012. Wie wäre es, wenn man mit dem Input von TV Signalen ausschliesslich software-basiert aus dem geschnittenen Live-Weltsignal Übertragungen in Echtzeit modifizieren könnte? Wenn man damit Inhalte wie beispielsweise Werbebanner individuell anpassen könnte, um so spezifische Kundensegmente anzusprechen und die Möglichkeiten der begrenzten Werbefläche in Sportstadien zu vervielfachen? Und das alles elegant und schlank, ohne den TV-Workflow zu behindern?

Interview with Petra Nix and Peter Sala – alumni of class 1 (1995/96) 

Petra Nix and Peter Sala were two of the first students to participate in the Rochester-Bern Executive MBA Program in 1995/1996. Both of them have forged remarkable careers. Petra Nix runs her own company – a strategy-focused consulting and design agency specialized in corporate and financial communications. Peter Sala has been working for over 18 years as Managing Director of Foster Wheeler Engineering AG – the Swiss office of Amec Foster Wheeler, the second largest engineering company in the world.
