Petra Joerg is CEO of Rochester-Bern Executive Programs, titular professor and lecturer at the University of Bern, and member of the Board of Directors of Coop Group Genossenschaft. In her professional roles she teaches, lives and is responsible for governance, strategy, finance, change and leadership with a strong focus on communication.

Petra Joerg studied business and communication at the Universities of Rochester and Bern, where she also earned her PhD. She is co-author of the “Handbook of Valuation”, a standard work for project and company valuation, and has published scientific and journalistic articles in various journals and newspapers. In her professional career, she has gained experience in journalism and consulting and as a lecturer at renowned schools. She also shares her knowledge in advisory boards of SMEs and start-ups as well as in the board of the IT trade association “swissICT”. Petra Joerg became a member of the SAC (Swiss Alpine Club) Central Board in June 2024.
