Current developments at the interface of medicine, technology, and health: Prof. Dr. Tobias Nef, expert in medical technology and rehabilitation at the ARTORG Center, presents selected projects that develop innovative solutions for medical care and quality of life. In the second part, we visit the NeuroTec Loft, an instrumented apartment for practical research, followed by a question and answer session.
About ARTORG: The ARTORG Center is a center of expertise at the University of Bern and, together with the Inselspital, University Hospital Bern, forms the medical technology hub of the Swiss capital. In its unique constellation as an engineering department within a medical faculty, ARTORG has been delivering ambitious research, teaching, and development in the field of biomedical engineering in a wide range of clinical applications for over a decade.
