Alumna becomes CFO of BLS AG
Mira Walther completed the EMBA and CAS Board of Directors at Rochester-Bern. From September 1, 2025, she will be the new Head of Finance and SCM and thus Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of BLS AG.
She previously held various specialist and management positions in the area of finance at Swiss Post for almost 14 years. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of a Swiss Post subsidiary. “The CAS Board of Directors course at Rochester-Bern prepared me comprehensively and practically for this role,” says Walther.
Walther completed the Rochester-Bern EMBA in 2014. She is convinced that she will benefit from it in her new position: “The EMBA taught me the skills I need for structured analyses and decisions on complex issues,” she says.
However, she has not only benefited from the professional input during the course, but has also built up a network that she can continue to draw on. “I also made good friends within the EMBA class,” says Walther.
