Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS)

A Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) offers you further education in a specific subject area, leading to a certificate awarded by the University of Bern. The programmes, which are taught in German or English, last around 6 months and are designed so that you can study alongside your work and personal life. Upon completion, you will earn at least 10 ECTS credits, which you can use to progress to further continuing professional development programmes within five years, such as a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) or an Executive MBA.
