Workshop: AI Agent Lab

In the AI Agent Lab workshop, you learn to distinguish between chatbots, AI assistants, and AI agents, gaining a clear understanding of their respective capabilities and use cases. You explore the benefits and risks of autonomous AI systems, including different levels of autonomy and the key requirements of the EU AI Act. Using an Agent Canvas, you design their own AI agent and implement it in a suitable tool. The workshop also focuses on establishing quality standards by defining the Definition of Done, Quality Gates, Human-in-the-Loop processes, and logging requirements. Finally, you clarify roles and responsibilities and develop concrete next steps to successfully bring your AI agent into practice.

After the seminar, you can:

• Distinguish between chatbots, assistants, and agents
• Assess benefits and risks—including levels of autonomy and the EU AI Act
• Design your own agent using the canvas and implement it in the tool
• Define “Definition of Done,” quality gates, “human-in-the-loop,” and logs
• Clarify responsibilities and plan the next steps

Your own laptop with access to a business version of Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot, along with a DPA (Data Processing Agreement). This is particularly relevant for the data-protection-compliant use of AI and cloud services in a corporate setting. For the exercises, you will work exclusively within the environment approved by your company.

This course is intended for department heads, managers, and board members. No prior technical knowledge is required. No programming skills are required, and there is no programming involved.
